Creator Spotlights: Todd McFarlane Breaks Records Again with Medieval Spawn

Renowned creator of Spawn and legendary comic artist, Todd McFarlane has done it again.

His latest Kickstarter campaign, MEDIEVAL SPAWN Action Figure & Comic Remastered '24, has not only secured the title of the Second Most Funded Toys project in Kickstarter history, but it has also set a new record for the most prelaunch watchers for a toy project, raising $2,048,384 from 10,863 backers with 41% of the backers being first-time supporters.

This achievement is yet another testament to McFarlane’s creative vision and the enduring legacy of Spawn. His previous Kickstarter project, The Original SPAWN Action Figure & Comic Remastered, still holds the #1 spot as the most funded toys project on the platform at $3.4M raised from 23,761 backers. With this new release, McFarlane has proven once again that his ability to captivate fans knows no bounds.

In 1992, the first SPAWN comic broke sales records, and by 1995, the Spawn action figure set new standards in the toy industry. With this project, MEDIEVAL SPAWN Action Figure & Comic Remastered '24, Todd delivers stunning new details, articulation, and accessories paired with a remastered comic, this project is a must-have for long-time Spawn enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Congratulations again to Todd McFarlane and his team for this achievement.
