Kickstarter at San Diego Comic-Con 2024

It’s that time of year again: San Diego Comic-Con is here! 

Comics creators and fans are gearing up their best costumes, prepping their most exciting announcements, and ready to celebrate the best of the comics industry.

And where there are comics, there’s Kickstarter. The Kickstarter team will be touching down in San Diego this week to elevate and support comic creators, engage with the comics community on current hot topics, and help comics enthusiasts understand how crowdfunding can help them put their ideas into action.

Where exactly can you find Kickstarter in all the fun at SDCC? 

Well first, when you step foot in the convention center, look up.We’re bringing our Ideas in Action campaign to life in the San Diego Convention Center with high visibility posters hanging in the lobby and above each of the three lounges. 

The first iteration of this campaign, which launched with out-of-home placements in New York City, featured major Kickstarter projects across categories like film, games and food. But for Comic-Con, naturally, we wanted to zero in on some of the amazing creators that have trusted us as a springboard to bring their incredible creative ideas to life: Coffin Comics, Chris Robinson, Peow2, Jeff Smith, Jimmy Palmiotti, Ngozi Ukazu, and Michelle Fus.
