Zine Quest is Kickstarter’s annual open call celebrating small-format RPG zines—and it's a great opportunity for you to contribute to that format's storied history.
RPG zines date back to the 1970s when they became a vital part of role-playing game culture. Today, RPG zines remain a beloved format for creative expression within the tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) world.
Whether you’re an experienced creator or a first-time DIY enthusiast, Zine Quest is your chance to bring an imaginative project to life and share it with a global audience.
To kick things off, we’re hosting a live panel, Zine Quest 101: Launching a Successful RPG Zine. It will be led by creators launching projects during this year’s Zine Quest (make sure to register at the above link).

How to Join Zine Quest 2025
Participating in Zine Quest is simple:
- Launch Your RPG Zine Project: Create a Kickstarter campaign for your RPG zine during February 2025.
- Launch window: Projects must go live between February 1 and February 28, 2025.
- Apply: This year, we've launched a new application. Don't worry, it's easy! Simply fill out this form to ensure your project is included.
